This past weekend, we kicked off the first show in a three week tour called the "Power of 10 Event." Team Tempest makes up part of the 'dream team' who aim to entertain and inspire young people in high schools all around the southern California region. According to the website...

"This on-site program is a high-energy and high-volume assembly that brings celebrity performers to the stage who unleash the ten Power Principles you can use to create your most powerful life possible!" - Powerof10Event.com

Basically by encouraging 10 character traits like Integrity, Vision, Choices, and Health and Fitness, through our personal journeys in life, we hope to inspire young people to face their fears, have dreams, and work towards them, and generally live an engaged life! I can't say how excited I am to be part of this, and hopefully this three week tour is just the beginning of something really incredible.

Tempest members Rich King, Victor Lopez, Luci Romberg, Gabe Nunez, myself, and our friend Shane Daniels add an exciting freerunning performance into the mix, as well as our voices and stories.

The show is hosted by Jeremy Bates, "The Hope Dealer" who has done a ton of inspiring and, well, hope dealing and adds his musical flavorings.

Next is artist extraordinaire Blair Rusin, snowboarder, musician, and awesome painter. Over the course of each show he paints a sweet painting to give to the students and schools.

Last but not least, pro snowboarder, first person to backflip a snowmobile, base jumper and all around badass Jim Rippey who shares the lessons he's learned on overcoming fear.
